Who is the course suitable for? This qualification is for those working in learning environments that need to understand the concepts of safeguarding. What will I learn and how will I be assessed? This qualification introduces the concept of safeguarding and covers key themes such as bullying, harassment, online safety. Students will complete the course workbooks and undertake a short assessment. The course comprises one mandatory unit and a selection of three from six. Understanding the Need for Safeguarding (Mandatory) Establishing Safe Personal Boundaries Staying safe on line Investigating Cyber bullying Investigating Harassment Recognising abuse Staying Safe What are the benefits of completing this qualification? What are the benefits of this course? To develop your knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and related issues, to be able to recognise abuse, staying safe procedures. You will learn about the importance of safeguarding in a learning environment. What are the progression routes?
