The preaccess programme allows students to undertake a number of generic units together with specialised units to prepare for progression onto the Access to HE programme. There will also be the potential to study GCSE English and Maths built into the programme, subject to diagnosic assessment results, or alternatievly Functional Skills Level 2 English and Maths (Grade C equivalency) as these qualifications are required to progress onto Access to HE and are requested by many universities.
