You will explore a variety of topics including: Communication with children Development of positive relationships with children and young people Positive outcomes for children and young people Context and principles for early years provision Promoting children's learning and development Promoting children's welfare Supporting childrens speech, language and communication You will also develop knowledge and understanding of: Professional practice Safeguarding children and young people Supporting health and safety of children and young people Working together As part of this course you will also undertake a 2 day per week workplacement in a relevant childcare setting.
