You will learn how to think logically and creatively to solve visual communication problems whilst working in a professional environment. You will study a range of projects including: Posters, letterheads, business cards and label design Marketing & Photography Web Design Branding Advertising Typography Illustraion Animation Traditional & computerbased illustration Printmaking Image manipulation Editorial design During the second year, you will be introduced to advertising, packaging design, web page design, business practice and photography. The course includes a short work placement, giving you the opportunity to use your skills in an operational business. Previous students have spent time in graphic design studios, advertising agencies, printers and architects, with some achieving paid summer work as a result. You may also have the opportunity to visit New York City as part of the course.
