Public Services (Uniformed) - BTEC Extended Diploma

The Public Services (Uniformed) BTEC Extended Diploma is designed for those students hoping to pursue a career in one of the Uniformed Services such as the Army, Navy, Police, Fire or Ambulance Service. It is a broad based course covering practical and theoretical subjects, assessed by completing projects and assignments. In addition to learning about the employment area chosen students develop the skills needed to start or progress a career within the chosen field. The programme places great emphasis on physical fitness and practical activities in order to raise the students' fitness levels to the standard required for entry to the Uniformed Services.
