Who is the course for? This course is designed for those who have achieved an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing, and those who have 3 years or more experience in the industry who have not yet gained formal qualifications in hairdressing. Candidates must be training/working a hairdressing salon on a part time basis before applying for this course. Potential candidates need to be aware that excellent attendance and punctuality is essential and references will be required to demonstare the candidates experience and suitabilty in the Hairdressing field. What can it lead to? Successful completion of this qualification will enable candidates to work within the industry, in salons and spas, progress to senior stylist or start their own business. What will I study? During the course you will study; Health & Safety, promotion of additional products/services to clients, consultation, advanced cutting techniques, creative hairdressing skills, style and dress hair, colour and colour correction of hair and promotional activities. You may also study English and Maths alongside this qualification to help improve your employability opportunities.
