Who is the course for? Students who have successfully completed AS Sociology and wish to pursue their sociological interests further. Anyone wishing to study Sociology or related subjects at university. What can it lead to? A level Sociology can open up a range of careers and higher education courses such as Sociology, Social Sciences, leading to careers in teaching, the caring professions, personnel management, the media, law, politics and business. What will I study? You will cover two units: the first unit focusing either on Beliefs in Society; or Global Development; or Mass Media; or Power and Politics. The second unit covers Crime and Deviance or Stratification and Differentiation, and Theory and Methods.
