Who is the course for? Linear A Level Physics explains the properties of matter and energy and their interaction throughout the universe. This course will help you to develop a clearer understanding of the underlying principles of an increasingly technological world. You will develop your ability to apply physical principles and concepts to dealing with everyday problems that require logical and lateral thinking. You will be able to make judgements on the validity of given information and you will further your practical skills. What can it lead to? A level Physics can open up a range of careers and higher education courses in engineering, architecture, mathematics, actuarial science, physics, and astrophysics. A level Physics can also help gain direct entry into employment, especially into the scientific and related sectors. What will I study? You will cover three units in the year. These are Physics on the Move, Physics from Creation to Collapse and Experimental Physics.
