This course is for anybody who is expected to hold the six hours Appointed First Aid certificate or anyone seeking to gain a qualification in first aid. Bring a folder, pen and paper with you. Assessment is part of the one-day course. - Responsibilities and reporting - Assessment of the situation - Basic hygiene in First Aid - Dealing with and unresponsive casualty - Resuscitation - Heart attacks - Bleeding control - Minor injuries - Angina - Choking - Shock - Seizures
