Dancers and musicians have supported well known popular music and dance acts at the LG Arena, including Florence and the Machine, Britney spears and Diversity. Ex-led Zeppelin star, Robert Plant, is patron of our independent record label ? MAs records. Robert joined forces with his fellow band member, Kevyn Gammond, a Music lecturer at Kidderminster College, to help talented learners to progress in the music industry. Most of the output of the MAs label is recorded and produced in the custom-designed and built recording studio ? the epicentre of our Music technology courses. We have developed a formidable national reputation for Music and we have taught Music technology for more than 20 years with exceptional progression rates to higher education and employment. Creative Industries at Kidderminster College has an impressive record of placing learners either directly into the business or at prestigious universities, Drama, Dance or Music schools. The course provides an understanding of acting techniques and performance methods. You will develop your knowledge of the Performing Arts industry as well as devising your own work. You will take part in daily workshops, covering a range of key texts. The aim of the course is to develop technical skill and achieve professional working methods in preparation for progression to Level 3 courses.
