Advanced Extended Diploma in Sport (Development, Coaching and Fitness)

The BTEC Advanced Extended Diploma is the second year of the Sports Coaching pathway, which is designed to develop the skills and knowledge base of learners who have a keen interest in sports coaching. It includes a period of work experience. Learners will study in both practical and theoretical settings to understand advanced concepts in areas such as sports development, sports coaching, risk in sport, psychology, officiating and practical sports.

Entry requirements

Learners need to purchase a kit. The cost of this will be finalised at the start of the course but is expected to be in the region of 100. An additional cost of 30 is to be paid for the year-end celebration meal and group team building event. This money should be received before November.
