Intermediate Apprenticeship in Brickwork

This course meets the needs of learners who have gained an apprenticeship position in trowel trades (bricklaying). It allows them to learn, develop and practise the skills required for their employment. It also contributes knowledge and understanding towards the related Diploma in Trowel Occupations, which involves further brickwork understanding. This course is delivered in conjunction with the apprentice's employer and support is given to ensure specific training is available to meet all needs.

Name: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Brickwork Qualification title: Diploma in Bricklaying (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment You will be assessed by completing College-based practical and theory assessments as you work towards your full apprenticeship programme. You will also build an NVQ portfolio of evidence on your site-based experience. You will be visited by your allocated assessor at your place of work and discussions with your employer will form supportive evidence of your achievements.
