Advanced Diploma in Sport - Derbyshire County Cricket Club Performance Pathway

Cricket Derbyshire and Derby College have worked in partnership to create the Cricket Derbyshire Training Academy, which launched in September 2014. The Academy offers a range of training and qualifications for young people from the age of 16, including BTEC Sport qualifications. This is a fantastic offer for people across the region who are interested in sport, cricket events, competency and coaching. Young people taking part will have the best of both worlds- training in Derby College's state-of-the-art facilities and taking practical lessons with professional qualified ECB coaches and players at Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

Entry requirements

Learners need to purchase a kit. The cost of this will be finalised at the start of the course but is expected to be in the region of 100. An additional cost of 30 is to be paid for the year-end celebration meal and group team building event. This money should be received before November.
