What will I do on this course? This is a sports science course that brings together theory and practical skills and knowledge. There are six units of which three are optional choices: Core - compulsory units Anatomy for sport and exercise Sport and exercise physiology Sport and exercise psychology Research methods for sport and exercise Research project for sport and exercise Fitness testing for sport and exercise. Optional - three units from the following examples: Sports biomechanics in action Exercise, health and lifestyle Fitness training and programming Sports nutrition Current issues in sport Instructing physical activity and exercise Sports injuries Sports coaching Practical individual sports Practical team sports.
