This study programme will provide you with the opportunity to work with Formula Ford race mechanics in our workshops and trackside and be involved with Rally sport through the preparation of a local rally event. The study programme includes a Diploma in Motorsport Level 3, tutorial support, employability, work experience and study skills. Motorsport Level 3 units: Motorsport suspension systems and design Advanced fault diagnosis in Motorsport Repair and restoration of Motorsport engine components Motorsport vehicle maths and science. Maths and English is a fundamental element of this study programme and will be embedded into your vocational learning. If you do not have a grade C in Maths and/or English you will attend a discrete GCSE or Functional Skills class as part of your weekly timetable. How will I be assessed? Well assess what you know about the job and your skills in a number of ways, including: On-going workshop assessment IMI assessed observations of practical work IMI E-portfolio IMI online multiple choice questions. What options do I have after completing this study programme? Successful completion of this study programme can lead to: Foundation Degree in Motorsport or Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship in the motor industry A career in the Motorsport industry An NVQ Level 3.
