What will I do on this course? A level Law will help you to understand the world we live in by helping you develop skills in critical analysis and debate. You will also visit the local magistrates court in AS and the Supreme Court in A2. AS units include: Who makes the law The role of solicitors, barristers and jurors Sentencing by the courts Powers of the police to stop and search. A2 units include: Murder Manslaughter Theft, burglary, robbery Defences such as self-defence and insanity.
