What will I do on this course? You will get a broad-based experience of maths through modules in core mathematics, and a choice of two from the following: mechanics, statistics and decision maths. Core mathematics covers the fundamental concepts in algebra, geometry and calculus. In the mechanics module you will learn how to apply these concepts to problems encountered in physics and engineering. The statistics module will teach you how to apply these concepts to aspects of other pure sciences, social sciences, computing, business, economics and finance. The decision module will incorporate algorithms, graphing theory and linear programming, teaching you how to apply them in computing and business.
