This course is for beginners or for those with some experience of sewing and covers a broad range of topics to match the ability of the learner. The course will give learners an introduction to basic sewing techniques and construction which will enable learners to construct a textile item for the home by the end of the course. By the end of the course learners will be able to: - Use sewing equipment safely. - Gain knowledge of basic sewing and construction techniques. - Create one or more textile items. This course is suitable for those who are new to sewing and wish to develop confidence and skills in using sewing machinery to create textile items.
