ACOUSTIC GUITAR BEGINNERS AND IMPROVERS

The course is designed as a practical hands method to playing songs on acoustic guitar including tuning chords fingerpicking strumming techniques melody and lead playing using a simple system called tablature. For Improvers we build on your previous experience and cover more advanced chords melody fingerstyle and lead playing. By the end of the course students will be able to: -Play songs using chord diagrams strumming patterns and fingerpicking - read tablature to play melodies and riffs - Apply some basic music theory to playing the guitar
