1 Year Programme with 1 day a week at college. Apprenticeships are designed by employers for employers and are tailored to meet the needs of each specific sector. An apprenticeship will allow you to get qualified, get paid and get a career all in one go! This Apprenticeship gives students the opportunity to develop skills to take on responsibility in the workplace by setting, managing and monitoring work for other members of staff. Setting up, delivering and reviewing leisure services using a team. Gathering and using feedback from different sources to help suggest and implement changes. Ensure that the team are following good practice with regards to health & safety and centre procedures and protocols, Development of your own skills using a continuous professional plan and meetings with managers. Students develop technical ability with practical elements that they can demonstrate in the workplace. The Apprenticeship is aimed at staff/volunteers who already have a good working knowledge of the leisure environment they want to work in which will allow them to take on responsibilities for planning, delivering and monitoring/reviewing work and services.
