The College has its own Ofsted Outstanding graded nursery where you may also gain experience in planning activities for the children and practising skills in a working nursery. This qualification has been developed to meet the needs of the early years and childcare workforce. It looks at the development of children from birth to 16 years. It covers a wide range of subjects that will help you to develop skills and qualities to follow a wide range of career pathways.
Name: Childcare CACHE Level 3 Diploma Qualification title: Diploma in Child Care and Education Qualification type: Assessment This unit is delivered and assessed through assignments written by the awarding body CACHE. There is an externally marked case study at the end of year one and an externally marked research assignment of 5000 words in year two. You will also be assessed on your practice within the workplace. To be successful on the programme, you must pass the assessments both in College and within the workplace.
