A walk through leafy Hampstead, once known to Londoners as 'Appy Ampstead'. A Georgian village with its pretty cottages, cobbled lanes, many blue plaques and the large Hampstead Heath famous for its lovely view. It has many intellectual, artistic and literary associations from Constable to Galsworthy and Judi Dench to Freud. Starting and finishing outside Hampstead tube station. Meet at 1 pm on 15 May 2015.
