Name: Belly Dance: All Abilities Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Performing Arts Qualification type: Assessment You will be taught by demonstration and explanation- small amalgamations of a dance will be counted and practised until the full routine has been mastered and then performed to music. Some showmanship and style will be introduced for further enjoyment. Dance sheets are provided for home practice and video clips can be found on You -Tube for learners who like to practice at home. Dance shoes with flat or wide heels of maximum 1� inches high with a leatherette sole for dancing. Dance shoes should be specific for purpose and not worn outside a studio. Trousers or a wide skirt allowing freedom of movement would be fine. Tutor will have a selection of scarves and costumes that can be borrowed or purchased if desired OR you can eventually make your own-purchase through internet sources.
