Name: Printmaking Summer School: Beginners Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Crafts, Creative Arts and Design Qualification type: Assessment Students will be given a fortnightly project based on a specific printmaking technique that explores different aspects of creating prints whilst exploring both concept and theme. They will also be encouraged to develop their own visual language by collecting resource material within a sketchbook, this can also be used in class to explore their personal approach to creativity, imagination and style. The tutor will give demonstrations on the various printmaking techniques and will have problem solving talks, as well as looking at other artists' work- then students will approach their subject and gain one-to one guidance and advice. At the end of each session, students will present their work to the rest of the class and constructive feedback will be shared.
