Learn how to arrange flowers to give as presents or for special occasions. Make a hand tied bouquet, a candle table centre and a new baby gift basket. Students will learn to arrange flowers purchased from the supermarket using simple methods to produce designs. Flowers need to be purchased by students to bring to the course, and are not included in the course fee. The course outline will indicate what you need to bring. Flower costs per student are approximately 20GBP. Please ensure you read the list of materials carefully as soon as you receive the course outline. N

Dinner Party arrangement-- Shallow dish, Church candle, Oasis block, Mixed foliage, 4 limes, 4 wooden kebab sticks, 1 bunch of Spray Carnations (5 stems), 1 bunch (10 stems) of short-stemmed roses, 5 single carnations, 1 bunch of fressia, Gift Basket for a new baby-- Basket with a liner, Selection of flowers of your own choice - Roses, Fressia, Spray Carnations, Lisianthus etc, Selection of foliage Oasis floral foam, small Teddy bear (pink or blue), Hand Tied bouquet-- Flowers of your own choice. Suggested flowers 1 Rose, 6 single Carnations, 2 stems of daisy or spider Chrysanthemum, Selection of foliage (same length as the flowers), 2 sheets of tissue paper (colour to match flowers), Sellotape, 2 m of ribbon (colour to compliment flowers), Cellophane for giftwrapping.
