This qualification is designed to stimulate interest and encourage the learners' understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to care for young children. It is ideal if you are considering a career working with children, and need to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence that are needed to start your journey. You do not need to be working or volunteering in a placement for this qualification. To gain the qualification you will be guided by your tutor to develop your own portfolio of evidence. It does not qualify learners for a specific job role but it does support them in preparing for the 'next steps' either in training or moving towards work. Fee includes exam and admin costs of 89GBP.
