You will learn to identify the barriers that functional skills learners face and how to help learners overcome them- assess learners needs and progress throughout their course- plan a differentiated lesson that caters for the needs of all the learners, regardless of ability- use a variety of different teaching methods to ensure that all learners can engage in the lesson- recognise signs of safeguarding issues for vulnerable adults and what to do in such a situation- find and develop appropriate resources to use with low level learners- provide effective feedback to the tutor,if working as a volunteer or assistant tutor.
