By the end of the course you will have gained a good knowledge on a variety of chosen subjects and can enter unprepared into conversation about familiar topics. The course will help you to talk with more confidence and exchange information on different aspects (culture, politics, current affairs, etc.). A variety of class activities will be used including games, listening to audio clips, French songs and viewing of French films. For a better adaptation to the group, students are required to have completed 3 years prior learning. Homework is on a voluntary basis and mostly aims at looking up information and/or vocabulary to prepare for a topic which will be discussed during the lesson afterwards. The students must bear in mind that language practice is the finality of the course: although most of them decide to attend a French course by love of French culture, it is not compulsory to have an exhaustive knowledge of it, and they are welcome to suggest any topic they like. The course does not include any additional materials for you to buy. Any possible extra activities for the course will be agreed upon with the whole class and will not be compulsory.
