This weekend will demonstrate Adlerian groupwork through experiential exercises. The course shows how evolving group dynamics and lifestyle analysis can be combined successfully to evoke increased self-awareness, support chances of mistaken assumptions and goals, and improve the sense of social belonging and social interest. It shows as well how to lead groups from an Adlerian perspective. This course will be of value to people who work as professionals with groups (counsellors, therapists, social workers, teachers) as well as for those who are primarily interested in greater self-awareness. No prior knowledge of Adlerian theory or practice is required. Presented by Gerhard Baumer who trained in Berlin as a clinical psychologist over 25 years ago and has worked extensively as a psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer in Germany and the UK.
