This course will focus on repertoire, technique, style, interpretation and understanding of harmony. It is for intermediate and advanced players who can read music. Music studied will be sonatas by Scarlatti, Gervasio, Corette and Variations by Bortolazzi which will incur an extra cost of #30 (#20 for Federation members) payable separately to the BMG Federation. Frances Taylor is Britain's leading exponent of the Italian school of mandolin playing, having studied under Ugo Orlandi at Padua Conservatoire. She works tirelessly promoting the mandolin and has played in many high profile venues as well as on television and radio. Frances has tutored numerous workshops and courses for the BMG Federation.
