This vocational qualification requires learners to complete modules from within the standards set out by the industry Sector Skills Council. These modules are designed for those working in a variety of health and social care settings and offer a number of specialist modules for a range of client groups, including two specialist pathways for learning disabilities and dementia. The course is suitable for those working in the NHS, with private health care or social care providers, local authorities and voluntary organisations.
