Line Dancing is a fun activity which can provide you with an increased level of fitness. It does not cause strenuous cardio vascular exercise but it can improve movement and increase the heart rate. It also gives the brain a workout, as all the steps of the dances need to be learned and remembered. Intermediate: Not suitable for beginners, ideally you should have danced for more than a year (the levels can vary from person to person). During the class you will dance a number of dances to country and modern music . Favourite dances can be requested. The difficulty of dances can vary from beginner to intermediate level. Most dances are choreographed by choreographers famous in the world of Line Dancing. Clothing: It is best to wear something you are comfortable in and can move easily in. Shoes: High heels are not suitable, neither are trainers. Completely flat shoes or shoes with a small heel, preferably with leather soles or non-grip rubber soles, are ideal. Jazz sneakers can also be worn.
