UAL Level 3 Diploma in Fashion Extended Diploma

UPDATED 20150323 16:31:30

Probably one of the most creative and inspirational courses of its kind, we aim to develop students' ability as fashion designers through exploration of the design process, underpinned by good technical skills. Working through an exciting series of fashion project briefs, students learn how diverse and individual concepts can be developed to inspire fashion and textile design ideas. This course requires basic skills in fashion and good drawing skills. Applicants must have at least 5 GCSE's including English and Maths Grade C, or equivalent, or ESOL Level 5. Applicants must also demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for fashion design and a commitment to study. With a strong emphasis on illustration and design development, this course also comprises historical and contextual studies, pattern cutting, garment construction, costume and textiles. The first year of the course is a 90 credit Diploma, with an optional further top-up year to an Extended Diploma. This year over 95 percent of our students have been accepted onto BA courses by leading London universities.
