The Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering covers more advanced methods of machining, science and maths including turning, milling, grinding, CNC, CAD drawings and Quality. This qualification is delivered over a two year period on day release to our engineering training centre. This qualification is to give learners an understanding of the principles behind mechanical engineering in an organisation. It is assessed by completion of 6 units and exams by your instructor including working in engineering, principles of engineering technology, principles of manufacturing technology, managing engineering projects, machining and Computer Aided Design. Visit will be carried out in company every 3 - 4 weeks carrying out one to one training and assessment for your Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Functional Skills at various levels will be provided to enhance each learners Maths, English & ICT. Initial entry level assessment will be carried out to determine their knowledge and training requirement.
