We’re looking for enthusiastic people who want to take their first step on the career ladder into an IT role with one of the world’s largest telecoms providers in the world. Our Higher Apprenticeship Programme offers students an alternative further education option. You are given time to complete a Foundation degree on a block release basis at University, whilst fulfilling a role with your employer at the same time. At Vodafone, we’re all focused on making life better for our customers. We work together and think differently to create products and services that people love. Life in Telecommunications is exciting stuff and we want you to enjoy real job satisfaction and the chance to develop your career. We’re looking for bright and talented individuals to join our Apprenticeship Scheme. You will have an interest in technology with no/limited work experience, and the drive and passion to succeed in a fast paced environment. The majority of your classroom-based training will be delivered at our very own technical training college based in Birmingham, where you will have the opportunity to train on an extensive range of equipment, specifically set-up for training purposes. Year 1 of your technical training will provide you with a broad understanding of all the products and services that we offer our customers, setting you up to then focus on the specific technical elements of your particular role in Year 2. As well as this classroom based training, you will be given on-the-job training, and access to a wide range of e-learning tools to enhance your competence and capability within your role.
