The ITSSAR qualifications are used for operators of reach and counterbalance forklifts in a variety of settings. They are recognised as a standard of competence by many large employers including warehouse and distribution companies. ITSSAR is also used by the land based industries such as agriculture and horticulture as well as the utility companies. The ITSSAR courses cover all the requirements of health and safety as well as machine operation but the assessment is slightly less in depth than the construction award, hence the difference in price and duration.
