Units in the qualification cover all areas of retail management or sales professional including; • Managing staff to receive goods and services • Organising and manage the storage of stock • Maintaining availability of goods on display • Promoting sales • Deputising for the leader of the team • Help customers choose specialist products • Monitoring and supporting secure payment point use during trading hours • Producing staff schedules to help the team reach targets • Promoting continuous improvement • Merchandising and stock allocation • Store management • Working with others to improve customer service You will have a high level of public contact and must have the ability to promote excellent customer service. You must be approachable, flexible to meet the needs of the business and be target driven. You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, be reliable, responsible and professional at all times. You will work towards the following qualifications: • Level 3 Certificate or Level 3 Diploma in Retail Management or • Level 3 Certificate or Level 3 Diploma in Retail Skills (Sales Professional) • Level 3 Certificate in Retail Knowledge • Functional English and maths Level 2 These qualifications can help you to progress in a wide range of retails roles, including: Sales Managers, Specialist Retail Managers, Area Managers, Independent Retail Managers (Owners), Heads of Department (In Store), Store Managers operating in Multi-Disciplinary Environment, Store Operations and Managers.
