This course is for students who wish to gain employment in the construction industry. The course is suitable for experienced learners who would like a career in the construction industry or who are progressing from Carpentry and Joinery Diploma Level 2. You will study the following Assist in Establishing the Operational Area Assist with Progressing Operations Assist with Organising Resources Produce Timber Products (Circular Saw) Co-Ordinate and Install First Fixing and Second Fixing Co-Ordinate and Erect Carcassing All LMC students will receive tutorial support. All students aged 16-19 are required to study functional English and maths qualifications or GCSE maths and English if not already awarded an A-C in these subjects. Students over 19 are strongly encouraged to take relevant maths and English qualifications to support progression into further or higher education, training or employment.
