This course is for students who wish to develop basic carpentry and joinery skills with a view to progression within construction. The course is suitable for school leavers who would like a career in the construction industry and wish to progress onto level 2. You will study the following Safe Working Info, Quantities and Communication Construction Technology Woodworking Joint Maintain and Use Hand Tools Prepare and Use Power Tools All LMC students will receive tutorial support and take a programme of Functional Skills including maths and English.
