This is a one year course which focuses on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the hairdressing industry. The course is suitable for school leavers and adults who would like a career in the hairdressing industry. You will study the following Working in Hairdressing Maintain Health and Safety practices in the Salon Client Care Consult with the Client for Hairdressing Services Shampoo and Condition the Hair and Scalp Cut Ladies Hair The Art of Dressing Hair Colour and Lighten Hair Provide Perming Services Promote Products and Services to Clients All LMC students will receive tutorial support and take a programme of Functional Skills including maths and English.
