You will learn to distinguish the use of tone, colour, composition and texture Gain confidence in using watercolour materials and be encouraged to take part in group discussions Have access to one to one support The overall aim is to help you discover and develop your abilities through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques.

Bring whatever watercolour materials you may already have purchased, or a pad of A3 cartridge paper, soft grade of pencils (4B or 6B), soft rubber and a graphite stick for the first session. Materials resources you will need through the course will be discussed at induction.
