Learners will choose a project and using correct techniques will complete a finished piece of Upholstery or Soft Furnishing to a high standard. For example- Curtains, blinds, headboards, loose covers, bedspreads, all types of chairs covered, traditional and modern upholstery techniques used.

A basic sewing kit is required for Soft Furnishing projects, including scissors, needles and pins, tape measure and threads. Upholstery tools: the tutor will have tools for learners to borrow on the first lesson.
