Oil and Acrylic Painting - Experimental Techniques

The course will establish a range of methods of oil or acrylic painting through the use of sketchbook, photographs, found images or direct observation. You will be encouraged to further develop skills in tone, colour, composition and perspective Develop independent learning and a more individual approach to using a range of techniques and methods of painting. Have access to one to one support and group discussion The overall aim is to help develop personal expression through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques.

Entry requirements

A) Bring whatever Oil or Acrylic materials you may already have purchased or a pad of A3 cartridge paper, soft grade of pencils (4B or 6B), soft rubber and a graphite stick for the first session. B) Materials and resources you will need through the course will be discussed at induction.
