Learning goals will be discussed at the first session so that they can be tailored to the needs and interests of the group. Emphasis is on developing speaking and listening skills for use in real life situations. Different topics are covered each term. Typical topics covered at Level 1 may include- Greetings, giving personal and family information- Ordering food and drink- Shopping for food and clothes. Sessions are lively and varied and include pair and group work in the taught language to maximise exposure to, and use of, the language you are learning.
