Food Hygiene - Level 2 Award - Food Safety in Catering

The aim of this course is to learn how to prepare, cook and serve food safely in order to prevent food poisoning occurring. Students will learn how to carry out best hygienic practices + understand food safety hazards and what should be done to prevent them (an overview of relevant food safety systems will be considered in order that students can decide which would be appropriate to apply when they themselves are handling food). An awareness of food safety and the law + carry out correct pest control. Understand HACCP and the importance of correct food storage.
