This Sport level 2 programme with a Physical Activity & Health pathway will suit students with an interest in exercise, health, diet and nutrition. You will learn about practical sport performance, active lifestyles, fitness, healthy living, nutrition, promoting health and wellbeing and the social influences on health and wellbeing. Your programme includes a 4 day residential stay which is organised in partnership with SWFCs National Citizenship Service (NCS) scheme. Through this, you will gain experience of a range of sporting and outdoor activities and undertake some work experience. Other course enrichment activities can include visits to sport organisations and venues. You can have the opportunity to study an additional nutrition module. You also have the opportunity to take part in a range of sports both recreationally and competitively including the chance to compete in our football and basketball teams in the British Colleges leagues.
