This course aims to broaden and develop skills and knowledge of Musical Theatre in a highly professional and highly disciplined theatre school environment.This course is run by Wildcats Theatre School in Stamford. It is made up of mandatory core units and specialist units including: Mandatory Units: •Performance Workshop •Performing Arts Business •The Historical Context of Performance •Rehearsing for Performance •Performing to an Audience •Musical Theatre Performance Specialist units may include: •Storytelling as Performance •Singing Skills for Actors and Dancers •The Healthy Performer •Movement in Performance •Choreographing Dance •Working Freelance in the Performing and Production Arts •Singing Techniques and Performance •Auditions for Actors •Developing Voice for the Actor All students will also undertake solo or duologue LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations
