Aviation Operations Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma

This course leads you through all the skills and processes required to prepare you for work in the aviation industry, investigating and reporting on all aspects of airline and airport processes and procedures and allowing skills and knowledge to be developed in customer service, conflict management, airport and airline procedures. (Please note if you would like to train as cabin crew you will need to do the level 2 Air Cabin Crew qualification first.) Aviation continues to be a fast growing industry with new and expanding airports developing worldwide. Ground staff and cabin crew play a very important role in the delivery of the customer experience from the initial check-in to disembarkation of the aircraft, in terms of customer service, safety, security and the comfort of passengers and crew. This course is designed to prepare you for a career in aviation. Within the aviation academy we have exceptional facilities, including an aircraft cabin and check-in facilities that are realistic to the industry for practical work. You will study various aspects of the aviation industry including health, safety and security, Air travel information and meeting customer needs in the Aviation Industry.

Entry requirements

Students are required to purchase a uniform and take part in a visit to an airline training centre and airports. The approximate cost of which is £150 in total. Those in financial hardship can apply for help from the college's Learner Support Fund.
