The level 3 Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Fitting will equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to work in a supervisory role within a fast fit environment. Skills include supervising staff,removing,inspecting,fitting and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles and motorcycles using specialist equipment ensuring that tyre pressures are correct,recording information and advising customers on legal requirements and simple maintenance issues. The apprenticeship includes both competence and knowledge qualifications,functional maths and English at L2,employee rights and responsibilities and personal learning and thinking skills. Nova centres may provide additional support for 16-18 yrs. old learners on a day release basis according to needs. Further details are available on application.
