What is the BTEC L3 Diploma Health & Social - Dual course about? If you are thinking of a career related to the Health & Social Care sector, including the justice sector, then the BTEC National Diploma is ideal for you. BTEC courses have an excellent reputation going back 25 years and the BTEC National Diploma is equivalent to two A Levels. There is also the opportunity to take additional AS/A2 subjects alongside the Diploma as these may be needed for certain professions or higher education courses. A key aspect of the course is work experience with 200 hours being divided across the course; this gives you opportunity to experience three different settings and to apply your knowledge and understanding to real work scenarios. Many of the HE courses leading into Health & Social Care professions require you to provide evidence that you have relevant work experience. In addition to work experience you will develop the skills of reflection and action planning, which are used by practitioners throughout their working lives. What will I study?
